Company Description: Nommerus is a specialized hedge fund focused on stocks, leveraging advanced Machine Learning models trained on financial reports and technical analysis of publicly traded companies. Nommerus creates a new business development offering an innovative opportunity to work at the intersection of finance and technology.

Role Description: The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will provide overall strategic leadership, set long-term goals, and ensure alignment between the fund’s investment strategy and business objectives. This contract, remote role involves overseeing day-to-day operations, guiding financial and risk management practices, and collaborating closely with investment and data science teams to refine the Machine Learning–driven trading approach. The CEO will develop and maintain key relationships with investors, partners, and regulators, while representing the fund in external communications. Additional responsibilities include driving business development, supervising corporate governance, and ensuring compliance with applicable financial regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Strong Finance and investment management skills, with experience in capital markets or hedge funds in the USA (and Israel and advanced).
• Proficiency in Operations Management, including process optimization and organizational leadership.
• Experience in Business Planning and Strategic Planning, including setting goals and executing growth initiatives.
• Demonstrated Sales or investor relations capabilities, with proven ability to attract and retain capital.
• Strong track record in fundraising and investor relations
• Familiarity with quantitative or data-driven investment strategies; experience working with analytics or Machine Learning teams is an advantage.
• Proven track record in executive leadership roles, preferably within financial services or fintech.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills in a remote, distributed environment.
• Advanced degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience scaling early or growth-stage financial companies/startups
