Position Overview-

• Hardware R&D Project Manager taking end-to-end (E2E) ownership of complex electronic card development programs from initial discovery and conceptualization to manufacturing and product delivery.
• Driving execution, detailed task scoping, sprint mapping, and dependency tracking to ensure hardware delivery hits tight time-to-market windows under strict quality benchmarks.
• Executing full matrix management across multi-disciplinary engineering blocks, aligning internal hardware, firmware, software, QA, and operational squads while proactively mitigating project risks.
• Directing global third-party vendors and subcontractors responsible for the precision fabrication of complex cabling, specialized interconnects, test fixtures (JIGs), and electro-mechanical accessories.
• Serving as the primary strategic communicator to synchronize expectations, highlight critical path bottlenecks, and report technical progress directly to engineering leaders and senior executives.
• Core Domain & Ecosystem- Hardware Project Management, Matrix Leadership, Electronic Card/PCB Development Lifecycles, Vendor & Subcontractor Management, Risk Mitigation, NPI Coordination, Jira/Confluence, and Satellite Communications / RF Telecommunications Environments.

Requirements-

• Academic Background: B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or an equivalent technical discipline (or equivalent, high-impact hands-on professional experience) – Mandatory
• 3+ years of proven experience operating as a Project Manager or Program Manager specifically within a deep-tech hardware or hardware-software integrated R&D environment – Mandatory
• Demonstrated track record of leading cross-functional, highly matrixed projects across multiple engineering and infrastructure teams – Mandatory
• Deep, first-principles technical orientation in hardware development lifecycles, including a clear understanding of board design, hardware components, and physical test architectures – Mandatory
• Practical proficiency working with modern project management toolsets and documentation hubs, specifically Jira and Confluence – Mandatory
• Strong leadership traits with proven ability to drive alignment, resolve technical bottlenecks, and influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority – Mandatory
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a track record of clearly presenting risk assessments and technical trade-offs to both engineering teams and C-level executives – Mandatory
• Adaptive, fast-paced mental model capable of navigating changing priorities while preserving baseline project timelines – Mandatory
