About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Embedded Software Engineer with strong hardware orientation to join our small, agile, and highly impactful R&D team.

In this role, you will take ownership of core embedded software development while contributing to hardware design, system integration, verification, and product lifecycle activities in a regulated medical device environment.

You will be involved from concept through release, with visible impact on product performance, quality, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for advanced medical devices.
• Lead software lifecycle activities in compliance with regulatory standards, including:
• Software requirements documentation
• Verification and validation protocols
• Test execution and reporting
• Controlled design documentation
• Participate in system bring-up, integration, debugging, and root-cause failure analysis.
• Collaborate closely with hardware teams on next-generation product development, including design support and hardware V&V activities.
• Drive software Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), implementation, and release processes.
• Support testing activities using lab measurement and validation equipment.
• Contribute to continuous product improvement across software, hardware, and system performance.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Electrical / Electronics Engineering. חובה
• 8+ years of hands-on embedded software development experience, primarily in C.

• Strong technical writing and documentation skills, ideally in a regulated industry (medical devices preferred).
• 2+ years of electrical design experience. Experience with Altium is an advantage.

• Proficiency with laboratory testing methodologies and measurement equipment.
• Excellent English communication and technical writing skills.
