Senior Software Engineer - Strategic Customer Solutions

A medical technology company is developing AI-powered solutions that help healthcare organizations improve care delivery, patient engagement, and clinical decision-making.

The company’s platform combines advanced AI, predictive analytics, data infrastructure, and healthcare workflows to help identify patient needs, support care teams, and reduce operational burden across clinical environments.

This is an opportunity to join a fast-moving engineering organization and lead strategic customer-facing technology initiatives from concept to production. The role is based in Tel Aviv, offers a hybrid model with two days from home, and includes regular business travel to the USA.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical execution of strategic customer solutions from initial concept through production deployment.
• Design and build complex production systems using Python, with strong focus on scalability, reliability, and long-term maintainability.
• Own solution architecture for customer-facing projects, including data flows, distributed systems, integrations, and production readiness.
• Build and optimize data pipelines and large-scale data processing systems for healthcare and AI-driven products.
• Work directly with enterprise customers and external stakeholders to understand needs, define technical solutions, and drive successful delivery.
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, DevOps, data, and business teams to turn strategic ideas into production-grade solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, guide engineering execution, and promote high engineering standards across projects.

Required Qualifications

• Approximately 10 years of software development experience
• Strong hands-on Python development experience
• Proven experience designing and building complex production systems from scratch
• Strong expertise in software architecture and distributed systems
• Significant experience with data engineering, data pipelines, and large-scale data processing systems
• Experience working directly with enterprise customers and external stakeholders
• Previous experience in a startup environment
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly to the United States, averaging about one week per month
