Mechanical Engineer – CNC Programing

Systematics is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our Application Engineering team. This role involves a variety of engineering work with customers, along with support for advanced design and manufacturing processes. It combines strong engineering understanding, process planning, and CNC programming in a modern, technology-driven environment.

What you’ll do

• Support customers and provide professional guidance in design and manufacturing processes.
• Transfer designs from development to production and program manufacturing processes.
• Program CNC operations for turning and milling on 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machines.
• Design fixturing devices and define cutting tools.
• Work with production staff and department managers in the machining field.
• Work independently while collaborating closely with the team.

Requirements

• Mechanical Engineer with at least 2 years of experience, or 5+ years of cumulative experience in CNC programming.
• At least 2 years of 5-axis milling experience in CATIA / SOLIDCAM / SIMATRON.
• Experience with turning programming and mill-turn machines – an advantage.
• Experience working with composite materials – an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a team.
