DevOps Team Lead

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Team Lead to lead a team of DevOps engineers while remaining actively involved in hands-on technical work.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of DevOps processes across multiple projects. You'll work closely with development, integration, and infrastructure teams to build scalable CI/CD pipelines, automate deployment processes, and streamline the software development lifecycle.

You'll also mentor and support your team, drive best practices, and help ensure reliable software releases across development and customer environments.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• 3+ years of experience leading a DevOps team of at least five engineers.
• Strong experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Proficiency in Bash and/or Python scripting.
• Experience working in Linux and Windows environments.
• Hands-on experience with Docker.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes (OpenShift is an advantage).
• Experience working with Helm.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Ansible or Terraform is an advantage.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices is an advantage.
• Experience working with AWS and/or private cloud environments is an advantage.
• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is a strong advantage.
