Senior Product Manager

Join Onyx Security and help build the control plane for autonomous AI in a fast-moving, high-impact environment. Onyx is building the control layer that enables enterprises to safely adopt and scale AI agents across the organization, with the visibility, governance, and operational control needed to understand what agents exist, what they do, how they behave, and what risks they introduce.

About The Role

Onyx is looking for a Product Manager to help shape the future of our AI security platform and lead the evolution of our AI Control Plane. This role sits at the intersection of customers, engineering, and security, translating real enterprise AI challenges into scalable product capabilities.

You will spend significant time working directly with customers and the go-to-market team to deeply understand how enterprises adopt AI agents, where control breaks down, and what risks matter most. This is a highly hands-on role where you will prototype solutions quickly using AI tools, validate them with customers, and then partner with engineering to bring proven ideas into production.

What You Will Do

• Spend significant time in the field with customers, prospects, and the GTM team to develop a deep, firsthand understanding of where enterprises struggle with AI adoption and where visibility, governance, and control break down.
• Rapidly prototype solutions using coding agents and AI tools before involving engineering, building working demonstrations that customers can react to within days.
• Validate prototypes directly with customers until you reach a clear, proven solution, then partner with engineering to deliver a de-risked product capability.
• Drive the product roadmap and strategic direction of Onyx’s AI Control Plane based on real customer insight, market dynamics, and product vision.
• Partner closely with R&D, Security, and GTM teams to prioritize and deliver high-impact capabilities, acting as the connective tissue between customer reality and engineering execution.
• Leverage AI tools extensively to increase speed, experimentation, and productivity across the product development process.
  
  

• 5+ years of Product Management experience, preferably in enterprise software environments.
• Experience working on highly technical products such as cybersecurity, AI platforms, infrastructure, or developer tools.
• Strong ability to work directly with enterprise customers and translate complex problems into clear product direction.
• Proven experience driving product decisions in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
• Strong product judgment, prioritization skills, and end-to-end ownership mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical thinking and a data-informed approach to product decisions.
  
  

• Experience working on AI, LLM-based products, or AI governance / observability platforms.
• Background working closely with security teams or enterprise security workflows.
• Technical background (Engineering / Computer Science / equivalent hands-on experience).
• Strong AI-first mindset and comfort using AI tools in day-to-day product development.
