Despite the scale of the industry, advisory firms still rely heavily on manual operational work performed by support staff. This $50B support-services layer is expensive, understaffed, and inefficient.

We’re solving this by building vertical AI agents that automate the operational and support workflows behind financial advisory firms – helping advisors increase capacity, reduce overhead, and deliver better service to their clients.

The Role

We’re looking for experienced engineers to join our core team and help shape the future of our product.

This is a unique opportunity to join at an early stage and work closely with the founders and founding team to build and scale a category-defining AI product for financial advisors.

As part of the core engineering team, you will play a key role in defining our architecture, infrastructure, and product direction. You’ll work across backend systems, LLM orchestration, frontend experiences, data integrations, and agent workflows, while helping shape the culture and engineering standards of the company.

This role is ideal for someone who has already built and shipped products in previous roles and is excited to operate in a fast-moving startup environment where ownership, curiosity, and strong AI proficiency are essential.

What You’ll Do

Build the Core Product

• Build the core infrastructure that powers AI agents operating across advisor workflows
• Own end-to-end development across backend, frontend, APIs, and data pipelines in a production AI product
• Make architectural decisions that balance speed of execution with long-term scalability
• Build foundations that support autonomy, observability, security, and trust

Build Agentic Systems and Execution Layers

• Design and build AI agents that can plan, reason, use tools, retrieve context, execute workflows, and verify their own outputs
• Work hands-on with LLM orchestration, tool calling, memory, state management, workflow execution, evaluations, and guardrails
• Create deterministic control layers around probabilistic models so agents can operate safely and reliably in real-world financial workflows
• Build systems for monitoring, debugging, evaluating, and improving agent behavior over time

Core Team Ownership

• Shape engineering culture, standards, and development practices
• Influence product roadmap, technical priorities, and system design decisions
• Take full ownership over what gets built, how it’s built, and why

Who We’re Looking For

Must-Have

• 5+ years of experience as a full-stack/backend engineer building complex, production-grade products
• Strong backend engineering skills, including API design, async workflows, state management, and data modeling
• Proven experience building, shipping, and operating production SaaS systems end-to-end
• Excitement about building with modern AI systems and staying close to the frontier of what is possible

Strong Advantage

• Hands-on experience building AI-powered products, especially LLM-based systems, agents, automation layers, tool-use systems, or evaluation frameworks
• Experience with agentic workflows, multi-step task execution, retrieval, memory, evals, observability, or human-in-the-loop systems
• Background in B2B or enterprise products where trust, reliability, and data integrity are critical
• Experience working in early-stage startups or high-ownership engineering environments
