Application Security Engineer

Role Description

We are looking for a full-time Cyber Security Architect for a hybrid position based in North/Central, offering flexibility for some work-from-home days. The Cyber Security Architect will design, implement, and maintain robust security architectures to protect organizational assets. The role involves performing security assessments, ensuring application and network security, and addressing cyber threats. The architect will collaborate across teams to develop strategies for cyber risk mitigation and incident response planning.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Security Architecture Design and developing comprehensive cybersecurity frameworks
• Proficiency in Application Security to address vulnerabilities in software and systems
• Advanced knowledge of Cybersecurity, Network Security, and Information Security principles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for detecting and mitigating complex threats
• Experience working with cybersecurity tools, technologies, and methodologies
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are a strong advantage
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards and frameworks is a plus
