The role is hands-on and suited for a candidate with strong analytical skills, financial understanding, high attention to detail, and the ability to create clear financial visibility across a complex multi-entity environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Support monthly and quarterly financial and management reporting, including investment, cash flow, liquidity, budget-to-actual, and entity-level reporting.
• Maintain and analyze financial activity across multiple entities, accounts, currencies, and investment structures.
• Assist with cash flow tracking, liquidity planning, capital call monitoring, expected distributions, and forward-looking financial projections.
• Support investment operations, including capital calls, distributions, K-1s, investment statements, portfolio reporting, and investment committee materials.
• Assist with U.S. and Israeli tax and compliance processes, including reviewing tax return packages, workpapers, supporting schedules, and related documentation before external filing or advisor review.
• Coordinate with accountants, tax advisors, lawyers, banks, custodians, investment managers, fund administrators, and other service providers.
• Follow up with external service providers to obtain missing information, including capital account statements, K-1s, distribution notices, historical records, and supporting documentation.
• Maintain organized records for entities, investments, tax filings, legal documents, grants, capital activity, and major financial transactions.
• Consolidate information from banks, custodians, investment managers, accountants, advisors, and internal records to support accurate reporting and ad hoc analysis.
• Help improve reporting processes, dashboards, controls, and financial data infrastructure, and identify gaps, inconsistencies, missing documents, and follow-up items.
• Use AI tools, automation, and modern data workflows where appropriate to improve accuracy, efficiency, and reporting quality.
• Participate, on a limited basis, in occasional travel to Boston for historical record review and reconciliation work.
Requirements
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, FP&A, investment operations, fund administration, consulting, tax, compliance, audit, transaction services, or financial analysis.
• BA in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Law, or a related academic degree — required.
• Hebrew and English at a very high level — required.
• Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills and good understanding of financial statements, cash flow, tax workpapers, and investment reporting.
• High attention to detail, strong analytical capabilities, discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, manage multiple workstreams, and follow up until items are fully resolved.
• Comfortable working with complex data, multiple entities, external service providers, and cross-functional financial workflows.
• Willingness to learn and use AI tools, automation, and modern data systems.
Advantages
• CPA, U.S. CPA, CFA, or CFA progression.
• Experience in a family office, investment firm, fund, fund administrator, fintech, accounting firm, law firm, or consulting firm.
• Familiarity with U.S. and Israeli tax/compliance processes, private investments, capital calls, K-1s, portfolio reporting, or cross-border financial operations.
• Experience with BI tools, dashboards, CRM systems, financial reporting platforms, banks, custodians, accountants, investment managers, or legal advisors.
About the Role
The position offers broad exposure to investments, financial reporting, liquidity management, tax/compliance coordination, and family office operations.
