Quality Engineer

EZMEMS is a deep-tech startup developing and manufacturing breakthrough sensing technology for the next generation of Physical AI.

We are looking for a hands-on Quality Engineer to help build and run our quality activities across hardware, fabrication, assembly, system integration, testing, suppliers, and manufacturing operations.

This role is a good fit for someone with an industrial or hardware quality background, preferably in electronics, sensors, semiconductors, MEMS, hardware systems, or similar manufacturing environments.

We are looking for a practical, detail-oriented person who is comfortable working close to the product, engineering teams, suppliers, testing, documentation, and real technical problems.

The role combines hands-on quality work today with the opportunity to grow into broader quality responsibility as the company scales.

What you’ll do

• Build and maintain practical quality processes aligned with ISO 9001

• Support quality activities across hardware, fabrication, assembly, system integration, testing, suppliers, and manufacturing operations

• Define and maintain quality standards, test plans, inspection processes, and validation records

• Create and maintain traceability from requirements through design, integration, testing, and release

• Prepare and maintain product and process documentation, including test records, validation reports, change records, and technical files

• Take part in hands-on testing, validation, inspection, system-level verification, process verification, and issue reporting

• Analyze test data, identify trends, and support product and process improvements

• Work closely with engineering, fabrication, production, system integration, and operations teams to identify problems and improve processes

• Support root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement

• Work with suppliers on quality requirements, incoming inspection, audits, and corrective actions

• Support ISO certification processes and customer audits as needed

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years of experience in quality engineering, manufacturing quality, process quality, hardware quality, supplier quality, or similar roles

• Industrial or hardware quality background, preferably in electronics, sensors, semiconductors, MEMS, precision hardware, hardware systems, or similar environments

• Hands-on experience with inspection, testing, validation, system-level verification, process verification, issue tracking, and technical problem solving

• Experience with hardware integration, system testing, or end-to-end product validation

• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or structured quality management processes

• Experience with product and process documentation, test records, traceability, change control, and audit-ready documentation

• Experience working with engineering, production, operations, integration teams, and suppliers

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Fluent English, written and spoken

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related technical field

• Full physical presence on site in Caesarea is required

Nice to have

• Experience with electronics manufacturing, sensors, MEMS, semiconductors, precision hardware, or hardware systems

• Experience with incoming inspection, supplier quality, production audits, corrective actions, and root cause analysis

• Familiarity with quality tools such as Statistical Process Control, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, control plans, or reliability testing

• Experience supporting ISO certification or customer audits
