Role Description The Testing Lab Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the testing laboratory, ensuring accurate, safe, and timely execution of test procedures for advanced battery and power electronics products. This full-time, on-site role in Beit Shemesh includes planning and supervising testing activities, managing lab schedules, and coordinating with R&D, engineering, and quality teams to support product development and verification. The role involves maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment, enforcing safety and quality standards, documenting test results, and preparing reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory needs. The Testing Lab Manager will develop and refine testing protocols, troubleshoot testing issues, train and mentor lab staff, and contribute to continuous improvement of laboratory processes and methodologies.

Qualifications

• Strong quality control and assurance skills, including experience in implementing and monitoring lab quality standards.
• Hands-on expertise with laboratory equipment and general laboratory skills relevant to testing batteries, electronics, or similar technologies.
• Advanced analytical skills to interpret test data, identify trends, and provide clear, data-driven recommendations.
• Experience in research and development (R&D) environments, supporting product testing, validation, and optimization.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, electrical , mechanical or a related technical field.
• Proven experience managing a testing lab or similar technical facility, including supervision of staff and resource planning.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, testing standards, and documentation practices in industrial or high-tech laboratories.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in battery technology, power electronics, or defense/aerospace industries is an advantage.
