Position Overview

• Senior Electro-Optics & Integration Engineer joining an elite, multi-disciplinary R&D division composed of physicists and engineers across photonics, mechanics, hardware, and systems engineering.
• Executing high-precision, hands-on assembly and validation of advanced optomechanical components and sub-systems within a state-of-the-art optics laboratory.
• Operating specialized micro-mechanics assembly machinery and designing automated testing procedures to optimize component alignment and throughput.
• Leading system-level integration of intricate electro-optical assemblies, bridging hardware layers with physical and software-driven control loops.
• Troubleshooting and calibrating sensitive optical test equipment to maintain a high-precision experimental environment.
• Core Stack & Ecosystem Electro-Optics, Photonic Quantum Computing, Optomechanics, Free-Space Optics, Optical Fibers, Laser-Based Systems, Laboratory Automation, Micro-Mechanics, Systems Integration, and Electronic Test Instrumentation.

Requirements-

• Academic Background: B.Sc. in Electro-Optics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related exact science discipline from a leading university – Mandatory
• 5+ years of proven professional experience operating as an Electro-Optics or Integration Engineer – Mandatory
• Hands-on laboratory mastery utilizing electronic and optical test equipment (e.g., Oscilloscopes, Tunable Lasers, Waveform Generators, Power Meters) – Mandatory
• Proven track record in hardware/software/physics multi-disciplinary systems integration – Mandatory
• Deep engineering familiarity with precise alignment and assembly techniques, including translation stages, optical fibers, free-space optics, or specialized gluing processes – Significant Advantage
• Prior professional background coming from established aerospace, defense, or semiconductor equipment leaders – Very Significant Advantage
