Mechanical Engineer to lead a product engineering line (NPI).

One of our clients, a global industrial company specializing in the development, manufacturing, and marketing of advanced solutions for water infrastructure systems, is looking to hire an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead a product engineering line (NPI).

This role is part of a professional engineering team responsible for supporting products throughout their lifecycle, from development transfer to manufacturing, while driving engineering improvements and product optimization processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare manufacturing documentation, build and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), and perform 3D product modeling.
• Lead the transfer of products from development to production (NPI processes).
• Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers, providing engineering feedback related to steel casting manufacturing processes, tooling design, and product manufacturability improvements.
• Review and implement engineering changes, leading ECO (Engineering Change Order) processes from initiation through completion across multiple interfaces.
• Participate in technical discussions and provide engineering support for existing and new products.
• Support continuous product improvement and manufacturing optimization initiatives.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering – mandatory.
• Strong hands-on experience with SolidWorks, including 3D modeling and technical drawings – mandatory.
• Experience in transferring products from development to manufacturing environments.
• Excellent English communication skills – mandatory.
• Experience in metallurgy and Ductile Iron castings – a significant advantage.
• Knowledge of engineering analysis tools and methodologies – an advantage.
• Ability to work closely with manufacturing, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.

Additional Information:

• Senior-level position but Non-managerial role.
• Hybrid work model: 4 days from the office and 1 day from home.
• Extensive presence at the manufacturing site is required.

Company location: Head office in Rosh HaAyin, Israel, with regular work at the manufacturing facility in Ariel Industrial Zone.
