Backend Engineer

We're looking for experienced and versatile Backend Engineers to join our development teams. You'll work on complex engineering challenges, build scalable mission-critical systems, and collaborate across disciplines to create technologies that solve real-world problems.

What you’ll do

• Design and build backend services for real-time multi-drone control
• Develop in Java, Kotlin and Python for mission-critical systems and collaborate with Android, Product and DevOps
• Integrate new drones, sensors and edge devices
• Design system architecture and APIs
• Build a real time C2 platform for executing various drone missions

Requirements

• 5+ years of Backend experience
• Strong Java, Kotlin or Python skills
• Experience in networking, database and developing highly performant real-time systems
• Passion for delivering great user experience
• Experience developing Android applications - advantage
• Experience working on real-time, resource constrained systems - advantage
• Experience in the drone ecosystem - advantage
