Job Description

A leading insurance company in Central Israel is looking for an experienced Senior Generative AI Engineer to join its growing AI team and help build enterprise-scale Generative AI solutions.

In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge GenAI applications, including AI Agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures, intelligent document processing, and conversational AI solutions. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable AI products while driving innovation and best practices across the organization.

This is a hybrid position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work on impactful AI initiatives in a large enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale Generative AI solutions.
• Build and optimize AI Agent architectures and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.
• Develop intelligent document understanding and information extraction solutions.
• Design prompt engineering strategies and optimize LLM performance.
• Collaborate with Product, Data Science, Engineering, and Business teams to deliver AI-driven solutions.
• Evaluate, fine-tune, and optimize Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Implement best practices for GenAI development, testing, monitoring, and governance.
• Stay up to date with emerging AI technologies and drive innovation across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience developing Generative AI solutions, with a strong focus on AI Agents.
• At least 5 years of software engineering experience in enterprise-scale environments.
• Strong understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), including GPT, Claude, Gemini, and Prompt Engineering.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Hands-on experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Experience with data processing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
