The ideal candidate will have significant experience in complex testing of electrical and electronic assemblies, able to analyze and repair broken printed circuit boards (PCB) using testing equipment and create documentation for the testing of PCB assemblies.

Job Description

Managing and leading a testing team responsible for executing, planning, and improving testing processes at the board, sub-assembly, and electronic system levels, while ensuring quality, reliability, and compliance with engineering requirements and standards.

Primary duties and responsibilities:

• Set up and operate specialized or standard test equipment to diagnose, test, or analyze the performance of electronic components, assemblies, or systems.
• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, or engineering instructions for assembling electronics units.
• Verify product is functioning using: BOM, Engineering Change Orders, and Test Specifications. (ATP)
• Communicate and resolve product technical issues with the engineering team.
• Professional leadership and management of a team of electronics technicians.
• Troubleshoot and repair assemblies and circuit cards at the component level.
• Analyzing test results, isolating faults, and leading repair and improvement processes.
• Report writing (ATR) and documentation (Hebrew/English).
• Responsibility for meeting quality targets and schedules.
• Responsibility for the proper condition, calibration, and maintenance of testing equipment.
• Continuous improvement of testing methodologies, automation, and process efficiency.
• Training new employees and preserving professional knowledge within the team.

Working with Internal Interfaces:

• Ongoing collaboration with R&D/Engineering and Production departments.
• Involvement in product development stages to optimize testing processes.

Education & Professional Experience Requirements

• Practical Electronics Engineer – Must.
• Ability to read schematics and technical documentation – Must.
• At least 5 years of experience in electronic and/or electrical testing – Must.
• Experience in managing a technical team – Significant Advantage.
• Experience working with testing and measurement equipment.
• Experience in testing tactical UAV systems and ground communication units – Significant Advantage.
• Strong technical approach and troubleshooting capabilities.

Personal Skills

• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
• Good interpersonal skills and a strong team-player mindset.

Languages

• Hebrew – Native level.
• English – Good professional level (writing, reading, and speaking).
• Additional languages – Advantage.

Additional Requirements

• Readiness for work travel in Israel and abroad as needed.
• Availability to support customer and field activities when required.
• Security clearance – Advantage.
