Job Description

A leading defense company in Central Israel is looking for an experienced Business Project Manager to lead large-scale airborne intelligence programs.

This role is responsible for managing strategic defense projects from contract award through customer delivery, combining business ownership with technical leadership across advanced airborne intelligence, SIGINT, signal processing, and unmanned systems.

You will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, international customers, and subcontractors while ensuring successful execution of complex defense programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic business projects from contract award through customer delivery.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, milestones, risks, and deliverables.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across Systems Engineering, Software, Hardware, and Mechanical Engineering.
• Work directly with customers, subcontractors, and international partners.
• Lead technical and management reviews throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee procurement, delivery, integration, and customer acceptance activities.
• Provide both business and technical leadership to ensure project success.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience managing complex technology or business projects.
• Experience working with airborne platforms – required.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Background in SIGINT, COMINT, Signal Processing, Radar, Electronic Warfare, or Intelligence Systems – strong advantage.
• Previous experience as a Systems Engineer – strong advantage.
• Relevant military background (Israeli Air Force, Unit 8200, Intelligence Corps, or equivalent technology units) – advantage.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
