Cloud NetOps Team Lead

A global leader in application security and delivery solutions for multi-cloud environments is looking for a Cloud NetOps Team Lead to lead a global cloud networking engineering team.

The company develops cloud application, infrastructure, API, and AI security solutions that protect enterprises and carriers against sophisticated web, application, DDoS, API, and bot-related threats in real time.

This is a hands-on leadership role focused on cloud network stability, availability, performance, incident response, and deployment of large-scale networking solutions across global environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a global Cloud NetOps engineering team, providing technical leadership, mentorship, and operational guidance.
• Own cloud network stability, availability, and performance across global environments.
• Lead the design, deployment, and lifecycle management of network solutions in cloud environments.
• Act as the technical escalation point for complex networking and infrastructure issues.
• Manage incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for critical production issues.
• Coordinate with architecture, R&D, and field teams to translate architectural designs into operational deployments.
• Manage and operate multi-vendor network environments, including Juniper, Cisco, and Fortinet.
• Drive automation, operational improvements, best practices, security policies, and scalability initiatives across cloud infrastructure.

Required Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience in networking / communication infrastructure
• At least 2–3 years of management or team leadership experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Juniper environments
• Strong experience with BGP and L2/L3 networking protocols
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, and network troubleshooting
• Experience with L4/L7 load balancing – must.
• Experience working in cloud or large-scale production environments - significant advantage.
• Experience with Cisco and/or Fortinet- advantage.
