SW Development Manager

A leading cloud infrastructure and semiconductor technology organization is developing advanced silicon and software solutions that power next-generation cloud computing infrastructure.

The team designs custom chips, accelerators, and software stacks that address complex technical challenges at massive scale. This is an opportunity to join a fast-paced, highly technical environment in Haifa, working with multidisciplinary engineering teams across hardware, firmware, software, and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, delivery, and operation of large-scale embedded software solutions.
• Define and drive the technical vision for embedded software projects, including architecture, performance targets, quality, and technology adoption.
• Manage and mentor software engineers while fostering technical excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement.
• Guide cross-functional execution across hardware, firmware, software, and QA teams.
• Own full development lifecycle activities, from design and implementation through integration, delivery, support, and operations.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with product roadmaps and customer needs.

Required Qualifications

• B.Sc. or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field - must.
• At least 5 years of experience managing software development teams - must.
• At least 7 years of software development experience in C or C++ - must.
• Strong experience with embedded systems - must.
• Experience leading full development lifecycle activities from design through delivery and operations - must.
• Ability to work closely with cross-functional engineering teams, including hardware, firmware, software, and QA - must.
• Experience with networking - advantage.
