Associate Scientist

he Associate Scientist / Engineer will be supporting the execution of assigned small projects in co-operation with the rest of the lab team. The holder of this position will act with regular supervision from more senior colleagues within detailed processes and procedures in own technology area.

Main Responsibilities & Tasks

• Execute experiments, technical tasks or technical work packages within clearly defined guidelines
• Analyze data and report on experiments and results of technical tasks within assigned projects
• Record all experimental steps, observations, and results in designated systems according to SOPs and quality guidelines
• Assist in refining laboratory protocols and resolving technical issues under supervision
• Building and expanding expertise in dedicated field under supervision of higher experts
  
  

• Master’s degree, or Bachelor’s degree / Vocational training with 3 years’ experience
• Effective communication skills within team
• Adequate customer focus, able to respond to customers in a timely, professional, helpful manner
• Adequate relationship builder, able to initiate and maintain basic relationships within the team
• Basic problem-solving skills, proactive in finding solutions with a positive mindset
• Ability to apply agreed procedures and policies and available sources of evidence to make choices
• Good team player able to share responsibilities and knowledge within the team to achieve common goals
• Fluent in English
