Job Description

A leading organization in Central Israel is looking for an experienced System Team Lead to lead its System Infrastructure team and drive the organization's cloud transformation initiatives.

This is a senior leadership role combining hands-on technical expertise with team management. The position is responsible for leading the migration, design, implementation, and operation of enterprise cloud environments, with a strong focus on AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the System Infrastructure team.
• Drive the organization's cloud strategy and lead enterprise Cloud Migration projects.
• Design, implement, and manage large-scale AWS and GCP environments.
• Manage Hybrid Cloud and On-Prem infrastructure.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, performance, and security of cloud platforms.
• Lead infrastructure modernization and automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Engineering, Security, and Architecture teams.
• Manage infrastructure vendors and external service providers.
• Plan and deliver strategic infrastructure projects from design through implementation.
• Promote best practices, technical excellence, and continuous improvement across the infrastructure team.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience managing Public Cloud Infrastructure – required.
• Previous experience as a System Team Lead or Senior System Engineer – required.
• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS – required.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) – required.
• Proven experience leading enterprise-scale Cloud Migration projects – required.
• Experience managing Hybrid Cloud and On-Prem environments – required.
• Experience managing System Infrastructure teams – required.
• Strong background in servers, storage, networking, and virtualization technologies – required.
• Experience leading infrastructure and cloud transformation projects – required.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong architectural mindset with the ability to lead complex technical initiatives.
