Reports To: Director of Business Systems
The IT Manager is responsible for the overall management, and continuous
improvement of INNOVA’s technology infrastructure and business systems. This role oversees
IT operations, user support, cybersecurity, system administration while ensuring employees
have the tools and support needed to operate effectively.
Key Responsibilities
IT Infrastructure & Support
● Oversee the company's IT infrastructure, including computers, mobile devices, networks,
software, and business systems.
● Ensure the availability, reliability, performance, and security of all IT services.
● Manage relationships with external IT vendors and service providers.
● Maintain inventory, procurement, and lifecycle management of all IT assets.
● Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, standards, and documentation.
Systems Administration
● Administer user accounts, permissions, and access across all business systems.
● Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
● Support cybersecurity initiatives, including MFA, endpoint protection, password
management, and device compliance.
● Coordinate disaster recovery planning, backups, and business continuity procedures.
Business Systems Management
● Serve as the primary administrator for CRM and other business applications.
● Manage system configuration, user roles, permissions, integrations, and maintenance.
● Support implementation of new software platforms and business technologies.
● Coordinate testing and rollout of new system features and enhancements.
● Ensure business systems align with operational requirements and company objectives.
Service Delivery
● Ensure IT support requests are acknowledged promptly and resolved within established service standards.
● Respond to IT support tickets within 24 business hours where reasonably possible and
communicate expected resolution timelines when additional time is required.
● Prioritize and escalate critical business-impacting issues to minimize operational disruption.
● Monitor ticket trends and service performance to identify recurring issues and
opportunities for improvement.
CRM Training & User Adoption
● Deliver onboarding and ongoing training for CRM and business systems.
● Conduct live training sessions, workshops, and one-on-one coaching.
● Create and maintain user guides, SOPs, training videos, and documentation.
● Provide day-to-day support for employees using CRM and business applications.
● Monitor system adoption and recommend improvements to increase utilization and efficiency.
Process Improvement & Automation
● Partner with department leaders to identify opportunities to improve workflows through technology.
● Develop and implement automations and process improvements across business systems.
● Support user acceptance testing for new systems, features, and integrations.
● Recommend technology solutions that improve efficiency, reporting, and scalability.
Employee Onboarding & Offboarding
● Ensure all new hires are fully provisioned and operational before their start date.
● Manage equipment deployment, account creation, software licensing, and access permissions.
● Coordinate employee offboarding, including account deactivation, equipment recovery, and access removal.
● Maintain standardized onboarding and offboarding procedures across all global offices.
IT Governance & Compliance
● Develop and enforce global IT policies, standards, and security procedures.
● Maintain documentation for systems, processes, asset inventories, and IT operations.
● Ensure compliance with company security standards and applicable privacy regulations.
● Conduct periodic access reviews and software license audits.
● Maintain technology-related policies, including acceptable use, password, remote work, and device management policies.
Global IT Operations
● Provide IT support to employees across all global offices.
● Coordinate technology needs for new office openings, relocations, and expansions.
● Support conference rooms, meeting technology, video conferencing, and showroom technology.
● Manage IT projects and technology implementations from planning through deployment.
● Work closely with leadership to develop the company's long-term technology roadmap.
Additional Qualifications
● 5+ years of IT support, systems administration, or business systems management experience.
● Experience administering CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred).
● Experience managing Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or similar enterprise environments.
● Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices.
● Experience supporting global organizations and remote users preferred.
● Experience with automation tools, APIs, or workflow platforms is an asset.
● Excellent troubleshooting, project management, communication, and documentation
skills
