Job Description:

Effectiv, a company within the Harel Investments Group, is seeking an experienced Controller to join its finance team.

We are looking for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with experience as an Assistant Controller or Controller, who is interested in a role that combines broad accounting responsibility with financial analysis, business insight, and active involvement in key financial processes.

This opportunity is ideal for professionals who enjoy combining strong accounting expertise with a commercial mindset and are eager to contribute to financial control, analysis, and decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements and periodic reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
• Analyze financial data and evaluate economic factors to support business decision-making.
• Monitor budgets, cash flow, and financial performance, identifying trends and providing actionable insights.
• Work closely with external auditors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
• Participate in financial projects and lead control, optimization, and process improvement initiatives.
• Partner with company management and provide professional support on financial and accounting matters.

Requirements:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license – mandatory.
• Proven experience as an Assistant Controller or Controller – mandatory.
• Hands-on experience in financial reporting, financial controls, and financial analysis – mandatory.
• Strong accounting knowledge combined with business acumen and financial understanding.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial information systems.
• Experience utilizing AI tools to improve efficiency and streamline workflows – an advantage.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently, with excellent interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills.
