AIR is developing a unique electrical aircraft (eVTOL) for private, logistics, and defense markets.

With over 3,000 pre-orders for our private AIR ONE and active fulfillment of defense and logistics orders, we are growing rapidly. Our team is expanding as we prepare to extend testing operations with manned and unmanned flights in the US and start  mass production. We are working with top aerospace and automotive subcontractors worldwide.

We need a sharp Electrical Engineer to lead the design and development of our aircraft’s power and electronic systems, mastering both 800V and low-voltage setups. 

What you'll actually do 

• Take the lead on designing high- and low-voltage system harnesses.
• Lead manufacturing, testing of systems, and perform integration onboard the aircraft.
• Work with our teams and partners on avionics, power, and propulsion systems.
• Solve technical problems and compose creative solutions.

What we need from you  

• Education: B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in electrical/hardware engineering, with a proven track record of leading complex system designs.
• AI Tool Integration: Proficiency in leveraging AI tools and LLMs to accelerate engineering workflows, including documentation, troubleshooting, and basic scripting/coding (e.g., Python for test automation). 
• HV & LV Expertise: Strong, hands-on background in designing and developing both High Voltage (up to 800V) and Low Voltage electrical wiring harnesses and system architectures.
• Power Electronics: Deep understanding of and experience working with electric powertrains, motor controllers.
• Deep understanding of advanced battery management systems (BMS).
• Testing & Integration: Experience with hardware integration, system-level testing, and troubleshooting complex technical issues on the bench and on the vehicle/aircraft.
• Collaboration: Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external global subcontractors.

Advantages (Nice to Have)

• Experience in the eVTOL, aerospace or electric vehicle (EV) industries.
• Familiarity with aerospace certification standards (e.g., DO-160) or military standards.
