Backend Engineer

Securing substantial industry backing, the company recently closed a Series A funding round led by premier Israeli and American venture capital firms, including a highly prestigious cybersecurity VC.

Based in Tel Aviv (located within short walking distance of a train station). The team operates primarily on-site to foster high-velocity collaboration, offering flexibility as needed.

Position Overview-

• Senior Low-Level Security Engineer (Data Protection Agent) joining the core R&D squad to design, architect, and optimize a proprietary endpoint protection agent.
• Developing deep, low-level system instrumentation layers and kernel-level components to monitor, filter, and secure data access pathways with zero footprint on system performance.
• Writing robust, highly secure system-level code in C++ and Golang, managing complex memory structures and low-level OS behaviors.
• Designing high-throughput, low-latency inter-process communication (IPC) and remote procedure calls utilizing modern protocols like ConnectRPC.
• Core Stack & Ecosystem- C++, Golang, Windows Internals / Kernel, macOS Internals, ConnectRPC, Low-Level Operating Systems, and Endpoint Security Architecture.

Requirements-

• 5 years experience as a software engineering with a strong focus on system-level development – Mandatory
• Extensive, battle-tested programming mastery in C or C++ within production environments – Mandatory
• Deep, unassisted technical command of operating system architectures, specifically Windows Internals / Kernel development OR macOS Internals – Mandatory
• Hands-on experience or a strong desire to develop in Golang for high-performance backend and agent logic – Mandatory
