Senior Economist

📍 Airport City | Hybrid (3 days office, 2 days remote)

Purpose of the Role:

Lead and control financial processes within Sales & Marketing, through data analysis, forecasting, and providing tools to improve business performance—while managing and developing a small team of economists.

Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Manage budgets and perform financial controls, providing tools to improve work processes

🔹 Analyze financial data related to Sales & Marketing activities

🔹 Prepare financial reports and presentations in line with organizational methodologies and business needs

🔹 Work cross-functionally with Finance, Sales, Marketing and Central Planning, driving alignment and results

🔹 Develop tools and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness

🔹 Build sales forecasts

🔹 Analyze business results and promotional activities

🔹 Manage and control discount budgets

🔹 Support sales target management

🔹 Lead and develop a team (approx. 2–3 economists)

Requirements:

• B.A. in Economics / Business Administration – required
• 4–5 years of experience as an Economist – required
• Experience in FMCG / Consumer Goods – advantage
• Strong Excel & PowerPoint skills – required
• Experience with SAP and Power BI – advantage
• High level of English (written & spoken) – required
