Configuration Management

Get SAT is looking for a Configuration Engineer (NPI & PLM) to join our Engineering team in Rehovot.

In this role, you will lead the integrity of our multi-disciplinary products, bridging the gap between R&D and Manufacturing. You will ensure every component—from complex electronics to mechanical parts is accurately tracked through all lifecycle stages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Change Management: Control and implement engineering change processes, including ECO and ECR.
• NPI Leadership: Escort New Product Introduction projects to ensure manufacturing readiness.
• Lifecycle Management: Manage products from early development through high-volume production and End of Life (EOL).
• Impact Analysis: Analyze engineering changes and their impact on the operational supply chain.
• PLM Strategy: Define requirements and optimize the PLM system for configuration control.
• Engineering Support: Provide workflow and documentation support to mechanical and electronic design engineers.
• Supply Chain Continuity: Address obsolescence management and validate replacement components.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of proven configuration management experience within a multi-disciplinary hardware environment.
• Strong proficiency in PLM systems and managing complex BOM structures.
• Familiarity with ISO 10007 (Configuration Management guidelines).
• High level of English (written and verbal) for technical documentation.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills for a fast-paced environment.
