The experience of installation crews in the field is critical to the success of SolarEdge systems. Solutions that are easy to install and commission help save time, reduce costs, and minimize frustration for installers — making installer experience a key factor in customers’ choice of solar system vendor.

The Role:

The Senior Product Manager for Field Installer Software Experience will lead the strategy and execution of products and solutions designed for field installation crews of SolarEdge customers.

This role focuses on deeply understanding installers’ day-to-day workflows, challenges, motivations, and success metrics, and translating these insights into impactful software experiences and supporting tools.

The scope includes improving existing products as well as building new solutions from the ground up, including:

• Software tools for installers

• Installation and commissioning guidance

• AI-based support and chat solutions

• Visual AI validation and installation assistance tools

The role will directly oversee Product Management and UX/UI activities, while working cross-functionally with R&D, Product, Support, Marketing, Regional Sales, Technical teams, and additional stakeholders across the organization.

Requirements:

• At least 8 years of management experience, including 5 years in Software.
• Degree in Science, Engineering, Design, or MBA.
• General Management experience in Software – across Product, UI/UX, Marketing, and Business Development. Additional hardware experience is an advantage.
• Deep understanding of User Experience methodologies, including how to understand, measure, and improve user experience.
• Experience working closely with software development teams.
• Proficiency in Claude Code and demonstrated hands-on ability to develop an application – an advantage.
• Entrepreneurial background – an advantage.
• Experience working in a large corporate environment as a matrix manager – an advantage.
