ARC focuses on developing breakthrough technologies that shape the future of energy and industry, with strong emphasis on cutting-edge AI, industrial inspection, automation, and robotics in both manufacturing and service environments.

We are seeking a highly motivated student to join GE Vernova’ s AI research team in Herzliya. This role is offered through a third-party employment arrangement and is designed for graduate students interested in working on advanced, real-world AI challenges.

As part of a globally distributed research team, you will contribute to the development of state-of-the-art multi-modal AI solutions for robotics and industrial inspection. The work involves leveraging vision-language models (VLMs), large language models (LLMs), and modern deep learning techniques to enable intelligent automation in complex industrial environments.

• Conduct research and development in multi-modal AI for robotics and industrial inspection
• Design and implement models combining vision, language, and sensor data
• Develop and evaluate deep learning models using modern frameworks
• Collaborate with senior researchers across multiple global sites
• Contribute to experimental design, prototyping, and performance analysis
• Stay up to date with the latest advances in AI, robotics, and industrial automation
• Support integration of AI capabilities into real-world industrial applications

• Currently pursuing an MSc. or Ph.D. degree in:

Computer Science

Electrical Engineering

Applied Mathematics

or a related field

• Strong background in:

Computer vision

Multi-modal AI / vision-language models

Deep learning fundamentals

• Proficiency in Python programming
• Hands-on experience with modern deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch)
• Strong software development and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills in English
• Ability and willingness to collaborate in a global, cross-site environment
• Availability to work approximately 50% position (part-time)
