Chief Technology Officer

Wanted: Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for a Digital Media & E-commerce company in Petah Tikva. This is a very rewarding full-time and On-site position.

The chosen candidate will spearhead the complete technological evolution of a massive, multi-platform digital ecosystem, driving its strategic transition into the GenAI era. This high-impact leadership role offers the unique challenge of unifying a fragmented, high-traffic architecture while systematically eliminating technical debt across diverse enterprise systems. By leading a large department from the front, this executive will directly shape the automation, scalability, and long-term innovation strategy of a market-leading consumer brand portfolio.

Job Responsibilities:

● Formulate and execute the long-term architectural vision, consolidating fragmented legacy platforms and complex corporate processes into a unified, scalable cloud ecosystem.

● Actively introduce and integrate GenAI, smart search, and advanced personalization algorithms across all digital properties to transform user experiences and optimize high-traffic transactional funnels.

● Directly manage, mentor, and scale a large technology department of 30-40 employees, fostering a high-performance, accountability-driven R&D culture focused on modern engineering practices.

● Own the comprehensive technical roadmap for both customer-facing marketplaces and critical back-office infrastructure, ensuring seamless data flow, billing security, and CRM optimization.

Job Requirements:

● 4-6+ years of proven technology executive leadership experience (e.g., CTO, VP R&D) managing large departments of 30-40+ professionals within complex, enterprise-level corporate environments.

● Strong software engineering foundation—having successfully started their professional career as a hands-on developer—combined with deep architectural expertise in modern cloud environments (AWS/GCP) and microservices.

● Proven track record of operating within high-volume, transactional consumer environments, with a significant advantage given to candidates possessing extensive E-commerce or digital marketplace experience.

● Forward-thinking mindset regarding AI/ML application, with a practical understanding of how to implement generative technologies to solve real-world data, product, and business challenges at scale.

● Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with a demonstrated ability to seamlessly navigate complex organizational structures and translate deep technical vision into tangible business growth.
