DevOps Engineer with Software Development Background

I’m recruiting for a growing AI Security company building a platform that helps organizations adopt GenAI safely, with visibility, control, and policy enforcement around the use of AI tools.

The company already has a live product used by customers and is now expanding the engineering team as the product grows from detection and alerting into more active enforcement and broader AI-driven internal solutions.

This role is a strong fit for someone who knows DevOps deeply, but also comes from a real development background and wants ownership beyond predefined tasks.

What you’ll do

Build, improve, and own infrastructure, automation, deployment flows, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering environments.

Work closely with R&D on production systems, product reliability, scalability, and internal tooling.

Support cloud-based environments and help improve deployment, monitoring, availability, and development velocity.

Take broad ownership in a fast-moving startup environment, including problems that are not always fully defined in advance.

What you need

Strong hands-on DevOps experience, including CI/CD, cloud environments, containers, automation, monitoring, and production infrastructure.

Experience with common DevOps tools and environments such as Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub Actions / GitLab CI / Jenkins, AWS / GCP / Azure, Linux, and observability tools.

Software development background, not only scripting.

Ability to work independently and own broad technical areas end to end.

Versatile mindset, comfortable with ambiguity and changing priorities.

Familiarity with cloud environments is preferred, but strong military/technical infrastructure background can also be relevant.
