Job Description

A leading financial organization in Central Israel is seeking a SOC Analyst to join its Cyber Security Operations Center.

The role involves monitoring, detecting, investigating, and responding to cybersecurity incidents, operating advanced security monitoring platforms, and supporting the organization's cyber defense operations in a 24/7 environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate advanced security monitoring and detection systems.

• Identify, analyze, and respond to cyber security incidents and threats.

• Investigate security alerts and perform initial triage activities.

• Work with SIEM, SOAR, and Big Data security platforms.

• Escalate incidents to relevant security and infrastructure teams.

• Support incident response and cyber defense activities.

• Communicate with internal stakeholders and users impacted by cyber incidents.

• Document incidents and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

• Participate in a 24/7 shift-based SOC environment.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a SOC Analyst – required.

• Hands-on experience with Splunk or similar SIEM platforms – required.

• Experience working with SOAR platforms – required.

• Strong understanding of cyber security and information security concepts.

• Relevant cyber security or information security training/certifications – required.

• Strong analytical and investigative skills.

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Willingness to work in a 24/7 shift rotation.
