Position Overview

• Principal Control & Motion Architect / Technical Lead serving as the ultimate professional authority for automation, logic, and motion architecture across the entire global organization.
• Defining, developing, and auditing complex PLC code, real-time control logic, and high-precision multi-axis motion control applications for intricate, heavy-machinery hardware systems.
• Spearheading end-to-end (E2E) system integration, lab experimentation, and field validation phases, troubleshooting complex multi-disciplinary anomalies at the hardware-software boundary.
• Providing high-level technical mentorship and professional guidance to a specialized team of control and automation engineers to foster engineering excellence.
• Core Ecosystem Industrial Automation, Motion Control, PLC Programming, Multi-Disciplinary Systems, Siemens TIA Portal, Unitronics, Robotics, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and Real-Time Systems.

Requirements

• 7+ years of proven, hands-on professional experience in industrial automation and PLC programming – Mandatory
• Extensive, battle-tested expertise designing and implementing complex control systems and advanced Motion applications (e.g., multi-axis servos, synchronized drive systems) – Mandatory
• Demonstrated technical mastery working with leading automation platforms, specifically Siemens or Unitronics – Mandatory
• Prior leadership experience operating as a Technical Lead, Principal Architect, or Senior Automation Engineer with a proven track record of professional mentorship – Mandatory
• Strong holistic system thinking, with exceptional capabilities in executing multi-disciplinary (HW/SW/Mechanics) integration and field testing – Mandatory
