Full Stack Engineer

Job description:

We’re building a multi-tenant healthcare SaaS on Azure. Small senior team, modern stack, real ownership, fast pace, regulated domain.

Own features end-to-end across React, NestJS, PostgreSQL (Prisma), and Redis. Build third-party integrations, design services that can split into microservices, and run them on Azure / Kubernetes. We don’t have a DBA — the team owns the database. Security and compliance are part of the job, not someone else’s.

Job requirements and competencies 

5+ years shipping production SaaS. Strong on both ends of the stack.

•    Backend: Node.js + NestJS, clean service design, RESTApi.

•    Frontend: React + TypeScript, maintainable component design.

•    Database: Deep PostgreSQL — schemas, indexes, migrations, EXPLAIN ANALYZE. Prisma fluency, including its sharp edges (N+1s, over-eager includes, runtime query traps). Comfortable in raw SQL when needed.

•    Redis: Caching, queues, rate limiting, pub/sub.

•    Integrations: OAuth, webhooks, retries, idempotency, graceful failure with flaky upstreams.

•    Security: OWASP Top 10 in your bones. Authn/authz, tenant isolation, secret handling, secure defaults.

•    Compliance: Practical experience under HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 27001, and/or SOC 2 — encryption, audit logging, retention, evidence for auditors.

•    Architecture: Strong with design patterns and styles (layered, hexagonal, CQRS, DDD, event-driven). Knows when to apply them — and when not to.

•    Cloud + scale: Hands-on Azure. Microservices mindset. Multi-tenant data isolation and per-tenant scaling.

•    Craft: Robust, maintainable code. Strong PR reviews. Fluent with Git and CI/CD. Validates code before commit (lint, types, tests, pre-commit hooks) — never pushes red builds.

•    Modern tooling: Uses Claude Code / Cursor / Copilot as part of the daily workflow. Writes and maintains CLAUDE.md / AGENTS.md and other markdown context so AI agents and teammates can navigate the codebase fast.

•    Leading a SOC 2 or ISO 27001 audit
