Position Overview-

• Senior Backend Software Engineer (Python) joining a core, fast-paced development squad, reporting directly to the Backend Team Lead.
• Architecting, developing, and maintaining high-throughput, enterprise-grade backend services that form the backbone of a global platform connecting mobile applications, cloud services, and connected IoT hardware/devices.
• Operating in a scalable, microservices-driven production environment to handle high concurrency and massive data traffic smoothly.
• Optimizing complex cloud architectures, building efficient data models, and implementing robust monitoring pipelines to ensure continuous system performance and observability.
• Core Stack & Tooling- Python, Linux, AWS, Microservices, Kubernetes, MongoDB, and Grafana.

Requirements-

• 5 years of proven professional software engineering experience focusing heavily on distributed, complex backend systems – Mandatory
• Deep, substantial hands-on programming proficiency in Python within current or recent production roles – Mandatory
• Extensive, practical cloud engineering experience utilizing AWS ecosystems – Mandatory
• Solid architectural understanding and hands-on experience designing and scaling Microservices – Mandatory
• Rich experience working with relational or non-relational database architectures, with a strong preference for MongoDB – Mandatory
• Proven experience setting up, maintaining, or diagnosing system health via observability and telemetry tools, specifically Grafana or equivalent modern monitoring platforms – Mandatory
