Position Overview-

• Senior Backend Software Engineer (Node.js/TypeScript) joining a core engineering group to lead the design and implementation of highly distributed, cloud-native services.
• This unique role is specifically designed for a strong C# Backend Engineer looking to transition into a cutting-edge TypeScript/Node.js ecosystem, leveraging deep object-oriented principles to build enterprise-scale products.
• Architecting and scaling low-latency backend architectures, managing high-throughput asynchronous message streams, and implementing complex business logic over heavy cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborating with cross-functional architecture, DevOps, and data streaming teams to continuously optimize query execution and database performance across production microservices.
• Core Stack (Position Specific) Node.js, TypeScript, NestJS, Apache Kafka, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, and Snowflake.

Requirements-

• Academic/Military Background: B.Sc. in Computer Science or Software Engineering from a leading research university OR an alumnus of an elite IDF technological unit – Mandatory
• 5+ years of proven professional software development experience focusing heavily on high-scale backend environments utilizing C# (.NET) – Mandatory
• Prior pedigree working within innovative tech startups, fast-paced product companies, or elite technological military units – Mandatory
• Strong foundational command of asynchronous programming, distributed systems design, and architectural patterns – Mandatory
• Hands-on experience working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL), distributed data streams (e.g., Kafka), or containerized orchestrations (Kubernetes) – Significant Advantage
