SOC Analyst

Persist Security is expanding and looking for a skilled SOC Analyst to join our Security Operations Center.

As part of our SOC team, you will be responsible for monitoring, investigating, and responding to cybersecurity incidents in real time. You will work with a wide range of customers across the enterprise, public, and defense sectors while leveraging advanced security technologies in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage security alerts
• Investigate, classify, and respond to security incidents.
• Analyze logs from Windows, Linux, Microsoft 365, AWS, Google Workspace, firewalls, EDR solutions, network devices, and other security platforms.
• Develop and maintain detection rules, dashboards, and advanced searches within Wazuh.
• Document investigations and prepare incident reports.
• Collaborate with Incident Response, Threat Hunting, IT, and Security teams.
• Monitor threat intelligence sources, including the Dark Web and Telegram channels, and conduct OSINT investigations.
• Support customers in implementing and maintaining cybersecurity best practices.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with SIEM platform.
• Familiarity with OSINT, Dark Web monitoring, and threat intelligence.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Understanding of networking concepts and common network protocols.
• Experience analyzing logs and identifying suspicious activity.
• High level of English (reading and writing).
• Availability to work rotating 24/7 shifts, including weekends.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Advantages

• Knowledge of Threat Intelligence and advanced attack techniques.
• Experience with Threat Hunting or Detection Engineering.
• Relevant military or professional cybersecurity background.
• Industry certifications in cybersecurity.
