Engineering Manager

Located in the Tel Aviv District, the company supports a cohesive workspace featuring a flexible hybrid model with one day of remote work per week.

Position Overview-

• Software Engineering Team Lead taking direct personnel, delivery, and professional ownership over an organic, distributed engineering squad of 6 backend developers (situated across Israel and Eastern Europe), with explicit plans to scale the team in the near future.
• Maintaining a high-impact 40% Hands-On presence to drive architecture, complex system design, and zero-downtime microservices logic.
• Leading end-to-end (E2E) feature design and product architecture milestones across hyper-scale cloud environments, directly influencing the product's technological roadmap.
• Championing agile engineering methodologies, conducting design reviews, and providing continuous technical mentoring to cultivate a high-performing engineering squad.
• Core Stack & Infrastructure Node.js, TypeScript, AWS, MongoDB, Docker, and Jenkins.

Requirements-

• 2 years of proven professional experience in direct engineering management / team leadership, overseeing a minimum of 4 backend developers – Mandatory
• 6 years of hands-on professional software engineering experience focusing heavily on distributed, production-grade backend systems – Mandatory
• Deep programming proficiency utilizing modern backend technologies such as Node.js, Go, or Python – Mandatory
• Robust, practical cloud architecture experience working with major Cloud platforms (specifically AWS) – Mandatory
• Prior professional pedigree working within agile tech startups or B2B SaaS product companies – Mandatory
• Practical hands-on experience utilizing NoSQL databases or advanced in-memory caches (e.g., MongoDB or Redis) – Significant Advantage
