Position Overview-

• Python Backend Development Team Lead taking direct personnel, delivery, and technical ownership over an organic team of 5 elite developers, reporting to the Group Leader.
• Maintaining a high Hands-On presence focused on designing and expanding high-performance communication systems, network management layers, and low-level data routing engines.
• Spearheading the implementation of complex networking protocols and traffic filtering mechanisms, interacting deeply with simulated and production-grade firewalls, routers, and secure gateways.
• Establishing rigorous software engineering standards, leading code reviews, and providing technical mentorship to a squad of skilled engineers.
• Core Stack & Domain Areas- Python, Advanced Networking Protocols, Linux Systems, Firewalls/Routers, and Secure Communications Architecture.

Requirements-

• Academic/Military Background: B.Sc. in Computer Science or Computer/Software Engineering from a leading academic institution OR an alumnus of an elite IDF technological unit – Mandatory
• 2+ years of proven professional experience in direct engineering management / technical team leadership – Mandatory
• 5+ years of software development experience with deep, current programming mastery in Python – Mandatory
• Clear professional pedigree coming from Cybersecurity product companies, defense enterprises, or network communications vendors – Mandatory
• Substantial technical grasp of network architectures, routing layers, and hands-on experience dealing with Firewalls or Routers – Mandatory
