Heka Global builds web intelligence products for financial services - fraud detection, identity enrichment, and risk assessment at scale. Our DS team works at the intersection of LLMs, classical ML, and real-world production constraints.

The Role

We're looking for a Senior Data Scientist to own AI and ML quality across our product suite - from data exploration through feature design, technology selection, offline evaluation, and production implementation.

Responsibilities

• Lead technology selection decisions backed by experimental evidence
• Design and own model evaluation frameworks
• Deliver production-ready ML solutions independently
• Participate in AI architecture discussions across products

Requirements

• 3+ years in applied ML/DS
• End-to-end ownership track record: raw data to production
• Strong experiment design and evaluation methodology
• Production-quality Python
• Experience integrating LLMs as part of an ML system
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate and adopt new tools and frameworks

Nice to Have

• Fraud detection or financial services domain experience
• Feature pipeline design at scale
• Publications or open-source work in applied ML
