Role Description The AI Scientist will work on designing, implementing, and optimizing machine learning and AI models that enhance product search, price comparison, recommendation systems, and overall user experience on Labeb.com. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting applied research, experimenting with algorithms for pattern recognition, analyzing large datasets, and collaborating with engineering and product teams to integrate AI solutions into production systems. The role also involves evaluating model performance, improving data quality, and staying updated with advances in AI, data science, and related fields. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Haifa.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
• Expertise in Pattern Recognition and Statistics for modeling user behavior, product matching, and price comparison.
• Hands-on experience in Data Science, including data processing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
• Proven ability to conduct rigorous Research, design experiments, and translate findings into practical AI solutions.
• Proficiency with machine learning frameworks and languages (e.g., Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Experience working with large-scale datasets, databases, and cloud-based or distributed computing environments.
• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-specialist stakeholders.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams in an on-site environment.
