Software Automation & QA Engineer

We are looking for a Software Automation & QA Engineer to join the Software Division at ELTA Systems, Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI).

The position includes:

• Developing and maintaining automated software tests as part of the Automation Group

• Working across a wide variety of innovative software projects in a dynamic development environment

• Designing, implementing, and executing automated test scenarios to ensure software quality and reliability

• Applying software testing methodologies and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines

• Collaborating with software developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams throughout the development lifecycle

• Working with advanced version control processes and Agile development methodologies

• Supporting continuous improvement of test automation frameworks and testing infrastructure

What we’re looking for:

• B.Sc. in Software Engineering or Computer Science – Advantage

• At least 2 years of experience in Software Testing – Mandatory

• Hands-on experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines – Mandatory

• At least 2 years of experience developing test automation in Python (Backend experience is an advantage) – Mandatory

• Experience with Git and advanced version control workflows – Advantage

• Experience working with Docker, including deployment and execution of test environments – Advantage

• Experience working in Agile development environments – Advantage

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for software quality and automation
