Position Overview-

• Senior Backend Software Engineer (Java) joining a core, high-caliber engineering group responsible for designing and scaling core components of a global, high-throughput digital platform.
• Architecting and implementing low-latency, mission-critical server-side features, taking end-to-end (E2E) ownership of the code lifecycle from design to production.
• Operating within a highly distributed, cutting-edge Big Data and cloud infrastructure engineered to handle multi-terabyte data streams and massive daily transaction volumes.
• Collaborating with cross-functional architecture, DevOps, and data science teams to continuously optimize system performance, containerization, and data pipeline efficiency.
• Core Stack (Position Specific)- Java, Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, Hadoop, HDFS, Cassandra, Vertica, BigQuery, MySQL, Docker, and Linux.

Requirements-

• Academic/Military Background: B.Sc. in Computer Science or Software Engineering OR an alumnus of an elite IDF technological unit – Mandatory
• 5 years of proven professional experience as a Core Software Engineer – Mandatory
• 4 years of hands-on, production-grade development experience focusing heavily on Java – Mandatory
• Strong technical command of object-oriented design, concurrent programming, and distributed systems architecture – Mandatory
• Practical experience working with high-scale data frameworks (e.g., Kafka, Spark, Hadoop) or containerized environments (Docker) – Significant Advantage
