Position Overview-

• Sole Data Engineer stepping into a high-autonomy, high-impact role as the ultimate technical authority for the company's entire data ecosystem, collaborating closely with an organic team of 3 Data Analysts and reporting to the Team Lead.
• Architecting, building, and scaling critical production data infrastructure and automated ETL/ELT pipelines from the ground up, migrating early-stage pipelines into a resilient enterprise framework.
• Designing and monitoring real-time streaming architectures and Change Data Capture (CDC) pipelines to handle live financial transactional flows under strict performance and low-latency constraints.
• Translating complex financial data transformations and business logic into clean, production-grade infrastructure while optimizing cloud costs and storage layers.

Requirements-

• 5 years of proven professional experience operating as a Data Engineer within heavy, production-grade cloud environments - Strictly Mandatory
• Absolute programming mastery in Python and expert-level SQL—with a strict focus on writing clean, highly testable, production-ready code - Strictly Mandatory
• Direct, hands-on production experience building and managing data pipelines utilizing cloud native tools, specifically AWS DMS, AWS Glue, and Apache Airflow (MWAA) - Strictly Mandatory
• Deep, practical experience engineering live, high-throughput streaming pipelines utilizing Apache Kafka or AWS Kinesis in production (including debugging consumer lag) - Strictly Mandatory
• Proven background navigating CDC (Change Data Capture) architectures and handling complex schema evolution challenges in live environments - Strictly Mandatory
• Comprehensive experience building data warehouses over analytical databases, preferably Snowflake - Strictly Mandatory
• Robust understanding of data modeling principles, performance tuning, and cloud-cost efficiency - Mandatory
