Scientist, Experimental Biology - Cellular

We are seeking a highly motivated Scientist with expertise in cell biology, biochemistry, and cell-based assay development to join our Cellular Team. In this role, you will contribute to the development of a next-generation genome engineering platform, working at the intersection of synthetic biology, high-throughput screening, and cellular engineering. What You'll Do

• Design, plan, and execute scientific programs aligned with research and development objectives.
• Develop, optimize, and validate cell-based and biochemical assays to evaluate gene integration efficiency and gene expression.
• Execute complex screening workflows using high-throughput technologies and advanced cellular engineering approaches.
• Analyze, interpret, and communicate experimental results through reports, presentations, and team discussions.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive projects forward and ensure seamless data sharing and alignment.
• Contribute to the development of innovative methodologies that support breakthrough scientific discoveries.

What We're Looking For:

Required Qualifications

• MSc, PhD, or equivalent industry experience in Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related scientific discipline.
• 3–6+ years of hands-on experience in mammalian cell biology (industry experience preferred, level dependent on education and experience).
• Strong expertise in:
• Mammalian cell culture
• Primary cell culture
• Cell-based assay development and optimization
• Flow cytometry/FACS analysis
• Proven ability to analyze complex datasets and maintain detailed scientific documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Hebrew.

This position is a Full-time, on-site position based in our Israel offices. Flexibility to accommodate occasional meetings across global time zones is required.
