Senior Linux System Administrator

We’re looking for a Senior Linux System Administrator to join the System team within the IT division of one of Israel’s leading vehicle agencies. This is an exciting opportunity to join a large-scale enterprise environment and work with advanced infrastructure technologies supporting critical business operations across the organization.

What You'll Do:

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting enterprise Linux-based infrastructure environments (approximately 70% Linux and 30% Windows), alongside Windows systems, virtualization platforms, storage, backup, networking, and cybersecurity solutions. You will take part in ongoing infrastructure projects, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and work closely with internal IT teams to ensure stable, secure, and efficient system operations.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Linux System Administrator in enterprise environments - Must
• Strong hands-on experience managing Linux-based enterprise environments (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu or similar) - Must
• Experience supporting and maintaining Linux servers in on-premises production environments - Must
• Hands-on experience with Linux infrastructure, VMware, DNS, Bash scripting, and Windows Server environments - Must
• Experience working in large-scale on-premises enterprise environments - Must
• Experience with networking and cybersecurity technologies including FW, EDR, NAC, Linux administration and security best practices - Advantage
• Familiarity with Citrix products - Advantage
• Experience with monitoring, backup, and storage systems such as NetApp and Commvault - Advantage
• Microsoft, VMware, Citrix, or CheckPoint certifications - Advantage
