Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented Visual Gen AI Tech Creative Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate comes from the creative world, with a background in computer animation, 3D, VFX, motion, or visual design and is deeply passionate about generative AI. In this role, you will serve as the creative authority on the quality of our image generation/edit outputs, acting as a lead advisor to our research team and continuously stress-testing our technology to push it toward beautiful, production-grade visual results. This is an opportunity to sit at the intersection of art and cutting-edge AI research, shaping what "great output" means for our models and playing a key role in a dynamic and evolving industry.

Beyond research, you will be the voice of the customer from a creative perspective, championing how real creative professionals and end users judge, use, and value our outputs. You will support our data grading and voting efforts to ensure our evaluation reflects genuine creative quality, and you will partner with our go-to-market teams on pre-sales engagements, bringing creative credibility and hands-on expertise to conversations with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Creative Quality Advisory: Serve as the lead creative advisor to the research team on the visual quality of model and pipeline outputs. Define what "high quality" means for our technology, and hold outputs to a professional creative standard.
2. Stress-Testing & Exploration: Proactively push and stress-test our models and pipelines across diverse styles, use cases, and edge cases - including through fine-tuning and LoRA training to probe the model's stylistic range, to expose weaknesses, surface opportunities, and drive the technology toward aesthetically excellent results.
3. Custom Model & Style Development: Train and fine-tune LoRAs and custom models to explore new styles and capabilities, validate what the technology can achieve, and inform research on how to reach target creative outcomes.
4. Voice of the Customer: Represent the creative perspective of professional users and customers internally, ensuring their needs, expectations, and quality standards are reflected in how we build and evaluate our technology.
5. Data Grading & Voting: Support and help lead data grading and voting efforts, defining creative quality criteria and ensuring evaluations and rankings genuinely capture visual excellence.
6. Pre-Sales Support: Partner with Sales, Solutions, and CSM teams on pre-sales engagements: bringing creative credibility, demonstrating capabilities, and helping customers understand how our technology can meet their creative goals.
7. Visual Benchmarking & Evaluation: Define visual benchmarks and evaluation criteria that represent real creative requirements. Play a crucial role in the qualitative assessment of models, comparing outputs and translating aesthetic judgment into actionable signal for research.
8. Research Collaboration & Feedback Loops: Work closely with research and engineering teams, participate in regular syncs, and build tight feedback loops that turn creative critique into concrete model and pipeline improvements.
9. Showcase & Demonstration Outputs: Produce compelling reference outputs and demonstrations that show the full creative potential of our technology, for internal alignment and external-facing materials.
10. Prompt & Workflow Craft: Develop deep expertise in getting the best out of our models, prompt strategies, parameters, and creative workflows and codify best practices for the team.
11. Trend & Market Awareness: Stay ahead of developments in the generative AI creative landscape, competitive tools, visual trends, and what professional creatives expect, and bring that perspective back into the product and research roadmap.
12. Cross-Functional Bridging: Act as a bridge between the creative/visual world and technical teams, translating aesthetic intent into language research and engineering can act on, and vice versa.

Skills and Qualifications:

• A degree in computer animation, 3D, VFX, motion design, visual/graphic design, fine arts, or equivalent professional creative experience — a must
• Several years of professional experience in a creative discipline (art direction, 3D/CGI, motion, VFX, illustration, design, or similar)
• Strong, demonstrable aesthetic sensibility and a sharp critical eye for image quality, composition, lighting, color, and detail
• Hands-on, expert-level experience with generative AI image tools and workflows (e.g. diffusion models, Midjourney, ComfyUI, Stable Diffusion, and similar) - a big advantage
• Hands-on experience training LoRAs / fine-tuning generative image models to achieve specific styles, subjects, or quality targets, a strong advantage
• Deep passion for the field of Gen AI and where creative technology is heading
• Proactive, independent, and self-directed, able to define their own agenda and drive it without close supervision
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate creative judgment clearly to technical and non-technical audiences, including customers
• Comfortable in customer-facing settings such as pre-sales conversations and demos - an advantage
• Autodidact with a passion for learning and experimentation
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving environment; adaptable and flexible
• A strong portfolio demonstrating creative range and quality
• A team player who is also highly self-motivated
• Fluency in English; Hebrew an advantage
