Mertens - MalamTeam is hiring a GIS Development Team Lead for a public organization in Tel Aviv.
A great opportunity to lead GIS development, maintenance, and implementation of advanced geographic systems in a professional technology environment.
Responsibilities
Lead development and maintenance of existing GIS systems
Develop new GIS modules and Web maps
Perform advanced geographic analysis
Work with spatial databases and external system integrations
Gather requirements from users and clients
Identify business needs and adapt suitable technology solutions
Implement GIS tools and systems while working closely with development teams and clients
Requirements
At least 5 years of software development experience
At least 2 years of GIS experience
Experience developing Web maps
Experience working with MapLibre GL JS or Mapbox GL JS
Experience developing with Python and JavaScript
Experience working with SQL and PostgreSQL or Microsoft SQL Server databases
