The Role
As the Director of Product - Payments, you will own the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for our global payments and orchestration platform. Reporting directly to the VP Product, you will lead, mentor, and grow a team of 3 experienced Product Managers.
This is a high-impact leadership role that combines strategic vision, deep fintech expertise, and hands-on execution velocity. You will drive innovation across global payment flows, checkout experiences, payment orchestration, and fraud prevention across multiple geographies.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Roadmap: Own the end-to-end strategy for our core global payments platform, aligning it with enterprise customer needs, regulatory requirements, and business goals.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of experienced Product Managers. Foster a culture of excellence, clear ownership, and execution velocity.
- Execution & Collaboration: Partner closely with Engineering, Design, Data, and Business leaders to ensure high-quality, timely delivery in a fast-moving environment.
- Industry Partnerships: Build and maintain strategic relationships with global payment providers, processors, and orchestration partners.
- Innovation & Scale: Drive innovation in payment flows, localization, multi-geography compliance, and fraud prevention.
- Executive Influence: Represent the payments product domain at the management level, influencing company-wide strategy and contributing directly to revenue growth.
Requirement
- s7+ years of Product Management experience within high-growth product companies
- .3+ years of direct people-management experience, leading and mentoring high-performing Product Managers
- .Deep Payments/Fintech Expertise: Proven track record in fintech, with a focus on payments, processing, acquiring, or payment orchestration platforms. Knowledge of global compliance and risk is highly advantageous
- .Scale & Complexity: Experience building and scaling complex, high-volume B2B or B2B2C product architectures
- .Startup DNA: Proven ability to operate and deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic, and rapidly changing environment ("startup mode")
- .Business Acumen: Strong ability to connect complex product decisions directly to business outcomes, metrics, and revenue growth
- .Communication Skills: Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience presenting to executive leadership and external strategic partners
- .Fluency in English (written & verbal)
